Thank you!

Hi Girls, I just wanted to thank you so much for all your prayers these past few weeks and to let you know that I haven't dropped off the side of the planet... I really am still here and missing you like crazy I might add!

Here is my mom, looking quite pleased with herself as she takes her daily walk... and so she should, she's been through a lot.

Today we were finally able to pick her up from the hospital and take her home. I put her dinner in the oven while she settled herself down on her 'own wee couch', then tidied out her fridge and restocked it with new groceries.

I have been so blessed to have such caring and loving sisters during this season; God, daily, has been ministering to me through His Word and by His Spirit, may He see in me a truly thankful child.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

With love,

Hi Cathie,
It's wonderful to see your Mom doing so well, she is blessed to have a daughter like you!
I hope and pray all goes well with her convalescence, and strength for you as you help her to readjust.
We MISS you too Cathie! Would you possibly be able to come to a lunch that Joan is organising for next Thursday? it would be wonderful if you could, even for a short while.
This Thursday is our last study does'nt seem possible, but with your help on the blog we managed to struggle through and with God's help too of course at least we know more about the book of Revelation than when we started!
Lots of love to you.

Hi Margaret,
I am most certainly planning to be there on the 11th... I better be... I'm supposed to make and bring the cake!

I was thinking, after reading your comment, of the verse that reminds us that "The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps."(Prov. 16:9)

By faith, we set upon our study of Revelation, in the midst of the fullness of every day life... and God has been faithful in determining our steps through it all.

Margaret, I agree with you that it hardly seems possible that we are entering into our final week of this particular study course and surely I would have to 'high five' you on the reality that each one of us is coming out of it knowing more than we did entering in!

My refrain will always be that Bible Study is not just an exercise in mental gymnastics... if we have only gained head knowledge and have not been changed... then we have missed not only the point... but the blessing as well.

I have been blessed each and every time that I have entered into this Study Room and found each of you here. As I listen to your voices I just know that 'change' has been occurring in each one of us... and I thank Him.

Now... let's finish this thing, together, and let's finish it strong! I'll be dropping into the Study Room throughout this week and should be posting soon.

Love you!
Cathie

Hi Cathie,
For the first time in several weeks I have spent some truly "needed" time in the last two chapters of Revelation. I am half way through and after I finished day four tonight I felt as though I had just been given the best tasting drink of water...and I had! I decided to check in to see if there was anything new and boy was there ever! There she was with the biggest smile on her face... your Mother...for all of us to see and enjoy. You have been on quite some journey and have been blessed and covered by your sister's prayers! I am thinking that though we have been physically apart we have never been closer! We have seen the power of prayer and God's faithfulness throughout this time and His Promise to walk with us each step of HIS WAY! I am smiling away as I head off to bed. I so look forward to seeing you all!
Love...Always
Angie

Hi Cathie,

Thank yo so much for sharing with us. I just can't believe how good God is to me. I have just returned from a very hard, full day which has had some sadness and confusion plus joy and for some reason even though I am exhausted and ready for bed I was drawn to this site - just to see what was going on and I feel so blessed. Your sharing made me feel so much better and realize that it is through God that we are all able to continue on and also be so thankful. I have loved our study on Revelation - and to think I was afraid to do it at first. I still have many unanswered questions but I have such a better understanding which I am so thankful for. Cahtie, I don't know what we would do without you.

With Love
Debbie

I'm laughing so hard!

Debbie, I think that you have taken to heart my constant refrain that "repetition in Bible Study is good" and you've gone ahead and applied it to our Study Room! How endearing is that!?

You know... I can honestly understand your weariness and understand your joy; and I wholeheartedly concur with Angie, that although our lives have been full and have physically, emotionally, and spiritually 'required of us' during this particular season of time, we have never been closer... and we are all the more blessed for it.

I am looking forward to our discussion over the next few days in the Study Room... I'll be posting later on tomorrow, after you all have met and have laid out all your bits of paper... (tee hee... I'll let Joan explain that one!)

love you BIG,
looking forward to seeing you soon,

Cathie

I too thank you Cathie for introducing your Mom to us. Now in prayer we will have a face, I know God knows who she is by saying Cathie's mom but it is nice to meet her. I hope she knows how loved and cherished your are.
Now that our study has come to a close and we know exactly what it means to us as followers and what we are now to do with this knowlege. This morning I had the opportunity to share this with a young girl who is temporarily staying with us. She said "you mean the world is going to get worse than it is now"!!!! I said, "beyond your imagination"
I know that each one of us will have changed as a result of our Revelation Study. I am somewhat confused by the hows and whys but am satisfied in knowing all my questions will be answered when I meet Him face to face. I just hope I can remember all of them (questions).
Looking foward to next week when we can ALL get together.
Love to all...

Hi Cathie!
I have not been on the blog in many weeks...and have suffered for it! So wonderful to see this posting and find out your mom is home...and looking strong, I might add! It is so good to put a "face" to this name of "Cathie's mom" we have been praying for...thank you for letting us share in this experience with you!
My love to you...

Hi Marnie,
You have no idea how excited I was when I saw your comments! I know that you have missed the last several weeks of the Revelation study and are feeling unhappy about it. You and I will catch up together and I am so looking forward to it! You have been such a source of strength to me this past month and I am so proud to have you for "my daughter". As busy as you have been you found time to give me that "special day" and surround me with ladies that mean so much to both of us. Thank you!

While you were doing this for me there was another daughter, also lovingly attending to her mother.
We are two blessed women to have such caring, devoted daughters.

One of the things that I treasure and value is the time that we spend together in prayer and then to have seen the answers to prayer. Having Cathie's Mom come home and Takako able to go home to be with her family...how clearly we have seen God's faithfulness during some difficult days and we have so much to Thank Him for!

This seems to be the perfect place to be saying Thank You...to Cathie, for your commitment to our study in Revelation with everything that has been going on in your life...to Marnie for being my best friend...to Joan for all the extra work you do for all of us!...to all my "sisters"...such warm hugs today, I am so thankful for you...to our wonderful LORD and SAVIOUR who gave to us "His Revelation"... how exciting it has been to learn more of the inheritance that is waiting for us!

Hi Cathie,

I was filled with joy to finally get to put a face to the name "Cathie's mom". She looks very well and I can see you in her smile. I am so glad that she is home and closer to recovery. This may mean more work for you now, taking care of her at home.
I miss seeing you and listening to you, and learning from the "In-person Cathie" even though you are pretty good on the blog as well.

You are a caring, loving mother and grandmother. Like I've said before, you are a precious gift from God to me. I thank Him for putting us in each others path when He did. It would have been such a loss to me if we had missed each other.
A bunch of hugs to you.
Love,
Jan
